Isn't it Amazing
What happens when you find that really cool original hand drawn cell from your favorite comic, but couldn't find the color specifiction that went with the cell? You come to us and bring us the comicbook that it appears in.
With the awesome technology that we have in our shop, we were able to scan the original cell, bring it into Photoshop and recreate the color sheet. We scanned the original comic book to use as a color guide in Photoshop. Carefully we picked the colors and applied them to the file we created, then we printed it on our large format printer. We assembled the original clear comic cell over the newly created printed color sheet to create a one of a kind piece that was exactly what the customer wanted.
The combined cell and color sheet where framed using Artique White matting and a Black Brooklyn frame from Larson Juhl. A piece of Tru Vue Musuem glass with 99% UV protection was used to protect the piece from the harmful effects of UV rays.
